Half of her friends say abortion is murder, the other half point out that she is not healthy, the father is not healthy, and the baby was conceived while they were drunk. The baby could be a sick child. Mother decides it's wrong to abort, and she can always sell the baby.
Baby is born with congenital heart disease. each year the baby had surgery to repair her heart.She lived in pain, her body was not developing, and her brain had been deprived of oxygen causing more physical problems. She couldn't be toilet trained, nor feed herself. her quality of life was poor. After 5 years and the 5th surgery while in foster care the baby dies.
Just look at the results and tell me did she do right by having that child? She knew the pregnancy was a high risk for the baby.
I know they did wrong they were drunk etc. we just want comments on the outcome please.

yes you have a very high risk baby if you conceive while drunk. Chromosomes are damaged by drugs and alcohol.

What a dumb question. I do not even see where you are going with this. Are you trying to imply that getting pregnant while drunk will lead to these problems? And how is any of this a crime or inhumane?

All I know is this - I've tangled with The Reaper a couple of times, and I'm still here, and I appreciate every minute that I am, even when it hurts and I'm feeling like I do at the moment due to my heart medication and working in the hot sun, which is pretty rotten.
An 80 something lady of my acquaintance recently died, and she no more wanted to shuffle off her mortal coil than anyone else.
Life, no matter how miserable, is really about all you get, and I think you will find that, even for five years, the kid had something he/she would not have had otherwise. I know this is pretty general, and not very PC and a lot of other things, but it's how I see it from my Olympian 60 years.
Life - wouldn't be without it!

being drunk during copulation doesn't cause heart defects, does it in any resulting offspring, does it?
I could say the same about any living babies and with the same condition, and whether or not itake an axe to their head.
