Marijuana and Birth Control Pill?I have a little assignment Im working on for health class. Basically I have read that you cannot smoke when on the pill for it increase risks of heart diseases. But what if someone eats marijuana like baking it within another food, as I know people do. Is it still harmful to take the pill and eat the drug.

eating and smoking herb is the same thing duhh you get high off both

Yes - pot has the same effect if digested or inhaled.

ingesting any drug when you're on the pill can prevent it from working

Generally, pot does not have the same risks of heart disease as cigarettes have. However, it would not matter whether you ate it or smoked it, the effects would be the same. That I know of there is no increased risk of heart disease from smoking pot while on BC, so there would also be no harm in eating it.
