My throat is hurt & tights... What can I do?
Sounds like you have asthma and panic can cause asthma attacks -- it's a vicious circle! Doesn't matter if you drink a lot of water, you just need to keep your throat moist by eating a lot of popsicles, candy, cough drops, anything that will help your throat relax and not tighten up.
Now, let's talk turkey here. If you meditate or pray, it will probably help you calm down. Something is stressing you to the point that you cannot breathe or swallow or talk properly. If you want to meditate, I would suggest finding an audio tape (go to the library, it's free and you won't get rooked into buying something you don't like or need) about meditation. If you are Christian, try praying the Rosary, even though you may not be Catholic. John Edward (the psychic) has a great book about Practical Prayer, that includes a CD that will be helpful to you to help you calm down, ask the Lord for strength and calm, and it will help you discern what it is that is stressing you out and enable you to ask Him for help.
I know there are non-believers who will poo-poo my idea, but if you are sincere and truly are having the problems you describe, then you will want to help yourself this way. I wish you all the best and pray for your peace.
