How can I finance my oral surgery without a cosigner?I need all of my wisdom teeth removed, a filling and a deep cleaning, it costs around 4,000 total and no oral surgeons or dentists around here offer payment plans. I have Care Credit but my limit is only 1,000 and they won't increase it. My credit card has a very low limit as well, only 320. I applied for a personal loan at my credit union, but they won't give it to me without a cosigner because I've been working at my new job for only 8 months. I have no cosigner. I have a heart valve problem and I'm in constant, severe pain due to impacted wisdom teeth, gum disease and TMJ issues, and I'm afraid because working and even trying to get out of bed is becoming harder and harder each day. I'm only 25 and I take excellent care of my teeth and health, brushing and flossing 2 to 4 times a day every day of my life but I really feel like I'm going to die.
Is there any option out there for people like me? The dental school near me has wait times of up to two years, and they don't offer anesthesia anyway which is an absolute deal-breaker. Are there any medical or dental loan places that lend to people with fair credit? I have a 3-year record of consistent on-time payments for student loans and credit cards, but I had two bad marks on my credit score from when I was 18 and didn't know any better.
I have a few hundred saved. I've been pretty much on my own or caring for my dad (he's retired and disabled) and this is my first real job after college. My dad can't help me as he makes just enough for himself and his credit's not good enough to cosign, and my mom passed away last year from cancer so I have no one to ask for help. So I'm trying my best to put aside $ 100 to 200 a week, but it's just going to take a long time. I do have a nice computer but it's essential for my job, or I'd sell it. Thanks for the tips though, I'll see what I can do.

It sounds like you don't have any money saved up at all.
Do you have anything of value around your home?
Do you have any jewelry, music equpment, tvs, computers, etc?
Take them to a couple of pawn shops and get estimates - sell to the highest bidder.
They will not give you full value, since they have to re-sell the item.
Could you have a garage sale?
You could sell everything, including your bedroom furniture.
Advertise it in your newspaper.
Once you get on your feet again, you could buy some new furniture.
Promise to make to yourself:
Always have at least 6 to 8 months worth of living expenses put away in a savings or cd in case of an emergency...
