For those people who have had a heart attack or who have heart disease...did?you have symptoms beforehand? If so, how did they feel?
(curious - a heart attack is my biggest fear)
I am interested in hearing about symptoms which might occur long in advance of an actual heart attack...if there are any.

The main symptom from a heart attack is
chest pain which persists for longer than
15 minutes.
The pain is usually a severe, persistent
dull aching pain in the centre of the chest.
It is often crushing or feels like a weight
on the chest. It is not sharp and stabbing.
It may spread to the left arm, jaw or throat
and does not go away with rest.
The patient commonly feels sick and
short of breath. Most patients become
very sweaty, clammy to the touch and
frightened. It is common to feel weak and
light headed.

I had shoulder pain when I went to bed. It lasted for about fifteen minutes. I was active without pain. I thought it was a rotater cuff problem I think any recurring pain that lasts for awhile in the upper part of your body should be checked out
