Could it be heart related?

Could it be heart related? So last night I awoke with some chest pains. Nothing to sever. It kept me up most the night because it was uncomfortable. Today throughout the day the pain in my chest seems to getting a bit worse. It's centered on the left side of my chest and it hurt's in the same part of my back accompanied by heart palpitations, fatigue, sweating, tingling sensation in my fingers in left hand as if it were asleep, low grade fever 99.7 and nausea. When I went to pick up my father prescription I checked my blood pressure and it was 140/90 and pulse was 110. Now I wasn't thinking it was heart related because I'm only 26. I am about 40 pounds overweight and I do smoke about 1/2 pack a day. No alcohol except maybe twice a year. Can anyone give me any idea's what it could be and what they would do if I chose to go to the hospital. I don't have medical insurance so I don't want to go if it's not needed as I will have to pay outta pocket.

Family history: Paternal grandmother had sever heart disease, father has had 8 heart attacks, 100% blockage Right coronary artery and sever heart disease. Does that put me at greater risk even this young?

You are completely correct in that your family history does put you at a high risk. I would suspect is is a cardiac (heart problem) and recommend you go to an ER or dial 911 if the hospital is far away. with the fever it may also be pericarditis, which is an infection of the sac that surrounds and protects the heart, however I would still play on the safe side and go to the hospital. Being young doesn't always protect you from a heart attack.

You may need to see your doctor about this if you haven't yet. If heart diseases run in your family, you maybe dealing with something that may lead to something chronic or even death. It could be stress related or slight anxiety attack and the fact that you are smoker can easily be a trigger if consistent. It is never too late to get the help now since you're still young. You sound like a bright woman being knowledgeable of your medical history and this will certainly narrow the questions your doctor will be asking you. Good luck and hope you feel better soon.

Cheers!

i know im posting twice...but please go to the doctor. this could be very serious
fever can be a sign of infection, but an elevated temp is also a sign of a heart attack
these vital signs are especially significant if they are above average for YOU.
this is classic, textbook, heart attack symptoms
to answer your question..could it be heart related? you should really be asking, could it be anything else?
